Her family will be forever grateful to all of her caretakers. He was a phenomenal drummer, starting at the age of 7 when he got his first drum set. He loved spending time with family, hearing of the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren, and took great pride in his family. He was well known and respected in the local community.

He served as treasurer for the Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce, and was on the Tri-County Housing Board and the Watkins Glen Public Library Board. He was a former village Planning Board member, and a village trustee. As a trustee he was instrumental as a member of the Joint Project Committee in the construction of a regional water treatment plant along the canal between Watkins and Montour Falls. A longtime VP and branch manager of Community Bank in Watkins Glen, he retired in 2021. He was an active Rotarian, having served as its president, and the moving force behind a successful annual fund-raising Rotary auction. He was a Paul Harris Fellow, and received the Chamber of Commerce Community Spirit Award and Max Neal Award.

Bryan was predeceased by his father, Donald Bryan Cummings, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Casper “Cop” Thompson, Jr. and Josephine “Joie” Thompson ; paternal grandparents, Earl Cummings, Jr. and Helen Cummings ; mother-in-law, Judith Ann Sayre ; niece, Savannah Newton; and nephew, Ryan Pruitt. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Stacey ; children, Bailey, Colby and Cadan; mother, Louise Cummings; stepmother, Sue Cummings; brothers, Sean Cummings and David Cummings; by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, and by many other loving family members and dear friends. Ken was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Grace Cope, and his sister, Doris Force-Huston. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Bob Groll.

He retired as a sergeant for the NYS Department of Corrections after 25 years of a long and fulfilling career. And Joyce L. Reynolds on January 6, 1952 in Elmira, NY. He was a lifelong resident of Odessa, graduating from Odessa-Montour Central School in 1970 and Alfred State College in 1972. Age 84, of Elmira, NY died on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at home.

After her children graduated from high school and went off to college, Carol moved with Fran to Sarasota, Florida. There she worked in health care and retired after 15 years of doing medical billing for Intercoastal Medical Group. A couple of years later, the family welcomed another bright and beautiful daughter, Karen Elisabeth, into the family, and a year after that, a bouncing baby boy came along that Carol and Fran named Michael Francis, after their dear friend Peter Michael Morris. He was predeceased by his parents, step-mother Sue VanHorn and brother Doyle J. VanHorn. When Terri was 7 years old, her family moved to Florida from New York State. She attended Primrose Center of Orlando for 37 years and Inspire of Central Florida for about 10 years. She also liked dancing, listening to music, movies, singing, and bowling, and she bowled in the Special Olympics. She joined a diet support group called TOPS and was their Queen in 1998 by losing 70 pounds.

Doris was very active in the fire auxiliary, a Cub Scout leader, Junior Miss Judge, and was the town librarian for many years, which she loved very much. She had been active in the Memorial Hospital and was one of the founding members of Rainbows End, the second-hand shop. Also known as a very knowledgeable local historian, she was a member of the Bradford County Historical Society. She was more than happy to share her research with whomever called upon her. Her grandchildren called her "Mimi," which was very fitting for our beloved Phyllis.

Whether she was Mom, Grandma, or Gigi, she loved her family and would instantly change her plans to help any of us. Burial will be on Thursday, June 2, at noon at Holy Cross Cemetery on Route 14 in Watkins Glen, NY. The Haughey-Wood & Zinger Funeral Home is handling funeral arrangements. Connie was a beautiful person, an excellent wife, my best friend, an excellent cook and helped me many times. Her lovely eyes, beautiful smile and laugh will be missed by all. She was predeceased by her husband, Jim Peters, in 2000. Phil’s kind and generous soul always made room for family, friends, good food, and a good joke.

He loved spending time on Seneca Lake and the St. Lawrence River. Ken enjoyed fishing, refurbishing vintage boat motors, gardening, and tinkering in his workshop. He was a gentle soul whose unending compassion touched the lives of many. His unique sense of humor and easy ways gained him many friends.
